The Netracity Appliance connects directly with bedside medical monitors to capture real-time patient data such as heart rate, oxygen concentration (SpO2), and ECG waveforms etc. This vital information is displayed on the monitor and transmitted via HDMI and Ethernet ports, offering flexible data integration options.

HDMI Connection

When connected via HDMI, the Netracity Appliance software automatically detects the connection and gathers patient data, device parameters, and medical images. This data is then securely stored both locally on the disk and in cache, ensuring reliable access.

Ethernet Connection

When using the Ethernet connection, the appliance software collects device data and patient parameters. While the data is structured using HL7, the system normalizes the data keys to ensure consistency. Advanced transformation and validation processes prepare the data for transmission, improving latency and ensuring the integrity of the information.

Optimized Data Transmission & Retry Process

Data and images are transmitted to the destination point, and in the event of a transmission failure, our robust retry process ensures no data is lost, allowing seamless operations in even the most resource-constrained environments, where bedside data can be stored locally and sent once network resources become available.

Scalable Data Management & Visualization

At the destination, the Netracity Data Management and Visualization Engine (DMVE) processes thousands of transactions. The Netracity system is designed to scale effortlessly, processing data from hundreds of appliances while maintaining smooth performance and real-time access.

Real-Time Access for Remote Patient Monitoring

The processed data from the DMVE and APIs from the Visualization Engine are made available to remote patient monitoring systems. Doctors, Physicians, nurse practitioners, and caregivers can analyze and review the data in real-time, improving patient care.

The Netracity Appliance runs additional administrative and control processes in the background, handling diagnostics, resource monitoring, scheduling, and data purging.
